More than three years ago, we launched on AppSumo with a dream: that you wouldn’t have to pay for a thousand different tools just to access AI models. We wanted you to have everything with a single subscription —GPT, Gemini, Claude, Veo 3, ElevenLabs and much more— all for the same price.
Today we come to you with honesty, to share something difficult. Straico has been the most important and passionate project we’ve ever worked on, and on July 22, 2026, we will be closing it.
We tried in many ways. We grew through AppSumo, we offered LTD, monthly, and annual licenses, we listened to the community and we iterated. But the AI market changed faster than anyone could keep up with: the giants began offering free access through increasingly powerful plans, differentiation became increasingly difficult, and costs grew beyond what we could afford.
It wasn’t for lack of will or effort. It was the dynamic of a market that moves at a relentless pace.
To every person who purchased a license: we hope the access you had —every model, through both the UI and the API, under one subscription— was genuinely useful to you. Thank you for being with us.
2. Before We Go: Back Up What Matters to You
We want you to leave with everything you’ve created. Here’s how to save your valuable data before service ends on July 22, 2026:
1. Export your chats Open the web app → go to your chat history → use the Download option to download your conversations to pdf or txt.
2. Save your prompt templates and custom setups Any custom prompts, templates, or saved configurations should be copied or exported manually. These won’t be recoverable after the shutdown.
3. Download generated content Any images, documents, or files you generated and want to keep should be downloaded individually before the deadline.
4. API users If you’ve built integrations on the Straico API, plan your migration now. The API will stop responding on July 22, 2026. Save any logs or outputs you need.
5. Recommended deadline Please complete all backups before July 18, 2026 to leave a safety margin. We cannot guarantee data recovery after the final shutdown.
3. Refunds & Billing — Clear Policy
We want to be completely transparent about what happens with payments. Here’s exactly how each case will be handled:
Lifetime (LTD) licenses — no refunds We understand this is the hardest one. Unfortunately, we are not able to issue refunds for LTD licenses. These were one-time purchases made through AppSumo campaigns, and the funds were invested into building and running the product over these years. We know this is disappointing, and we’re truly sorry. What we can promise is that, up until the very last day, you’ll keep full access to everything you paid for —and more.
Monthly & annual subscriptions — canceled + prorated refund All recurring subscriptions will be canceled on July 22, 2026, and you will not be charged again. For the time you’ve already paid but won’t be able to use, we will issue a prorated refund.
Please note: refund timing depends on your bank and Stripe’s processing policies, which are outside our control. We expect all refunds to be completed before August 30, 2026. Refunds will be returned to your original payment method.
On-demand coins — no refunds Coins purchased on demand are non-refundable. We recommend using any remaining coin balance before July 22, 2026, as unused coins cannot be reimbursed or transferred after that date.

4. Frequently Asked Questions
When exactly does Straico stop working? Service ends on July 22, 2026. The web app, desktop app, and API will all go offline on that date.
I bought a Lifetime (LTD) license. Will I get a refund? No. We’re not able to refund LTD licenses, as these were one-time AppSumo purchases that were reinvested into building and running the product over the years.
Looking back at our campaign timeline:
- August 2023 (AppSumo) — our first campaign (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3)
- April 2024 (AppSumo) — second campaign, following the success of the first (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3)
- July 2024 — Ultimate (Tier 4) and Diamond (Tier 5) plans
- Black Friday 2024 (AppSumo) — our final campaign
Depending on when you joined, this means LTD licenses received up to 3 years of service for our earliest supporters, around 2 years for those who joined in 2024, and over 1 year and a half for our most recent members —with full access to everything we offered, and more, throughout that entire time. We’re truly grateful for the trust you placed in us, and we’re sorry we couldn’t continue. You’ll keep full access to everything until the final day, July 22, 2026.
I’m on a monthly or annual subscription. Will I be charged again? Do I get money back? No further charges. Your subscription will be canceled on July 22, 2026, and we’ll issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of your billing period. Refund timing depends on your bank and Stripe, but we expect all refunds to be completed before August 30, 2026, returned to your original payment method.
I bought on-demand coins. Can I get those refunded? No. On-demand coin purchases are non-refundable. Please use any remaining balance before July 22, 2026 —unused coins can’t be refunded or transferred.
Can I still access my data after July 22? No. Once the service shuts down, your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Please back up everything before the deadline (see the backup guide above).
Will my data be deleted? What about my privacy? Yes. All user data will be permanently deleted after shutdown in accordance with our privacy policy. Nothing will be retained or sold.
Will the desktop app keep working offline? No. The desktop app depends on our servers, so it will stop functioning after July 22, 2026.
Can you recommend alternatives? We know you’ll need to keep working. There are several unified AI-access platforms worth exploring as alternatives. We’re not affiliated with any of them —we just want to help you transition smoothly.
